“Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.”
1 Peter 3:15
I Believe.
I have been both a faith leader and a business leader in the secular world for a long time. I have lived it first-hand, and I want to share with you what it looks like to share your faith in these circumstances. I want to help you learn how to share your faith with others in your business, whether it be employees, customers, or vendors. That’s why I’ve put together 13 Principles of Sharing Your Faith in Business.
Sometimes, it can be hard to know where to start when it comes to sharing your faith with others. At Blondell Consulting, we believe sharing your faith is an integral part of who you are, and it’s important to talk about it with those you interact with on a daily basis. We know faith isn’t just a Sunday thing; it’s a part of everything we do every day.
Write Out Your Story
Have you ever told anyone how you came to Christ? Have you ever written your story down so it’s clear and concise? Give it a try, it’s the first simple next step in sharing your faith.
Look for Opportunities
We have opportunities around us every day to share our faith if we only open our eyes and be aware of what God is doing. Sometimes we simply lack the courage to speak up. Have you prayed that God would give you opportunities to share the Good News of Jesus? That’s a good simple next step.
Have Integrity
You can hurt your witness simply by not having integrity in your business. The way you treat your employees, following through and doing everything you said you would, and keeping your promises. These are just a few examples of how integrity can hurt your witness and diminish opportunities to share Jesus with the people around you. It’s another (sometimes not so) simple next step.
